Would you like to light your outdoors efficiently, while limiting your energy consumption? Discover Lumihome's solar-powered LED outdoor bollards: intelligent, high-performance lights with a unique design.

Why choose a Lumihome outdoor solar bollard?
Since our creation over 20 years ago, Lumihome has become the French specialist in outdoor solar lighting solutions.
As a pioneer of LED lighting in France, we provide technological solutions that enable our solar-powered bollards to fully meet your expectations:
- a new-generation monocrystalline solar panel that optimizes recharging,
- a more efficient LED lighting system,
- a powerful, interchangeable battery capable of delivering continuous current,
- a presence detector.
All these advantages make Lumihome outdoor solar LED bollards solutions that light up just as well as conventional 230V lighting.

More efficient outdoor solar bollards systems, even on cloudy days
Capable of converting daylight into high-intensity electrical energy, Lumihome solar LED bollards help you reduce your energy consumption, while providing incomparable lighting quality (up to 1000 lumens).
To achieve this, the solar panel is equipped with a UV amplifier that improves recharging on grey days.
What's more, most of our solar-powered bollard lights are equipped witha special mode (mode 3) to extend the duration of lighting during winter periods.

At last, a solar LED bollard that lasts!
At Lumihome, we've adopted a truly ecological approach that drives us to design durable, quality products to effectively combat disposability and waste.
Our range of solar-powered LED bollards is therefore equipped with an intelligent discharge system, which preserves the LI-ION battery and extends the life of the bulbs. We have also opted for quality materials, such as SMD LEDs and electronic parts, to ensure the longevity of your solar bollard.

Even longer life with interchangeable battery
Lumihome has chosen to install removable, replaceable batteries. Whereas most solar-powered luminaires have to be replaced once the battery has worn out, ours continue to light your way, thanks to their replaceability. A solution that extends the life of your luminaire, saves you money and reduces waste! It's one of the great ecological advantages of outdoor solar lighting.

Quick and easy to install: just screw it in place!
There's no need to run cables or consider building work to install your solar LED bollard, and no need to be connected to 230V. It's delivered with a post and a plate that you simply screw on.
What's more, you can place it wherever you like, as it doesn't require a south-facing installation to operate. The high-performance recharging system is effective even in difficult conditions, such as overcast skies, shady areas or low light levels. Easy to install, the solar LED bollard is also easy to maintain, as it requires no special maintenance.

Savings on purchase and use
The main aim of solar lighting is to reduce energy consumption. However, given the lighting quality offered by most solutions, you often have to choose between savings and power. But not with Lumihome's outdoor solar bollards!
Solar LED lights offer superior performance, thanks to the use of innovative, intelligent technologies. So you benefit from exemplary power, while reducing your energy bill. Last but not least, the ability to replace the battery means you can enjoy your lighting for many years to come, and save money in the process.

Solar bollard with a sober, contemporary design
At night, outdoor lighting should secure access, guide your steps and deter the unwary. But during the day, it should enhance your garden, even when it's switched off. With Lumihome's sleek, modern style of solar-powered LED bollards, you can mark out a pathway or light up a terrace with an extra touch of elegance. Our bollards are ideal for all types of exteriors, whether classic, old-fashioned or contemporary.
Of course, our bollards can easily be combined with a high-performance, designer solar wall light.

Unrivalled quality
To guarantee unrivalled quality, we carry out rigorous tests on each and every one of our products, to test their robustness in the harshest climatic conditions. Solar LED bollards are therefore perfectly resistant to humidity, heat and corrosion, as well as to salty air for homes near the sea. What's more, we add an extra surface treatment at the factory to further enhance this resistance. Last but not least, each of our bollards is equipped with a reflector that brilliantly defies the sun's ultraviolet rays to maintain its transparency.
With a 5-year warranty, our solar bollards are also CE, LVD, EMC and RoHS certified, and comply with the highest standards. Lumihome is committed to offering you a high level of performance, and ease of installation and use.
"Our solar lighting range is one of our proudest achievements. We have invested heavily to create a technology that is as powerful as it is simple to use. As for our manufacturing processes, they are now among the most rigorous on the market! "
FAQ
To choose the right solar bollard, start by defining your needs:
- for path marking, use a soft light (200 to 400 lumens),
- for a terrace or garden: a more powerful light (500 to 1000 lumens) is more appropriate.
Design and height are also important. Make sure the solar panel is efficient, especially if you opt for a monocrystalline model, and check that the rechargeable battery offers at least 6 hours of autonomy.
Finally, opt for terminals with practical features such as a motion detector or energy-saving mode, especially for winter use.
An outdoor solar bollard is a totally autonomous luminaire that converts solar energy into electricity to power an LED lamp. To achieve this, it uses a photovoltaic solar panel that captures sunlight and converts it into electrical current. This energy is then stored in a built-in rechargeable battery. Some terminals, such as those from Lumihome, are equipped with a motion detector to optimize lighting duration.
An outdoor solar streetlight is equipped with a solar panel that absorbs solar energy during the day and stores it in a battery. a battery. The battery then powers the LED lamp at night. Some solar street lamps can also be fitted with a light sensor that automatically switches the lamp on when the light level drops.
The service life of a bollard depends on several factors:
- The solar panel: around 10 to 15 years.
- Rechargeable battery: approx. 2 to 3 years, depending on quality and charge cycles.
- LEDs: they can last up to 50,000 hours.
We recommend regular maintenance, such as cleaning the solar panel and replacing the battery, which will extend the life of the luminaire.
The choice of light output depends on the application you need:
- Path marking: 100 to 200 lumens are enough to mark out a path.
- Emergency lighting: 300 to 500 lumens provide more intense light to secure an area.
- Decorative lighting: 50 to 100 lumens create a soft, warm atmosphere.
Lumihomes solar bollards offer different native wattages, like the Génova bollard. On most models, this power is adjustable.
Solar bollards work in winter and on cloudy days, but their performance is reduced as the sun's rays diminish.
We therefore advise you to :
- Choose models with high-quality solar panels, such as those in the Lumihome range: they capture diffuse light better.
- Opt for bollards with motion detectors, like the Venus model: they light up only when movement is detected, thus saving energy.
- Regular maintenance: Clean the solar panel to remove any snow, dust or leaves that may obstruct light collection.
We also recommend checking the condition of the battery, as cold temperatures can affect its performance.
Installing a solar bollard is quick and easy:
- Choosing the right location: preferably select a sunny spot, away from the shade of trees or structures, to maximize the solar load.
- Prepare the ground: Make sure the ground is stable and level. For models to be planted, drive the stake into the ground. For fixing models, use appropriate screws.
- Orienting the terminal: If you can, position the solar panel to the south (in the northern hemisphere) for optimum exposure to the sun.
- Leave it on charge for 24h: Activate the lamp and make sure it lights up at dusk.
No wiring is required, making installation accessible even to non-professionals.
